Listen Mogwai’s new album is like seeing a bunch of best-of-the-peer veteran laughingly jumping on stage with so much energy after a long holiday rest or good sleep last night and playing their best songs of their career in front of their loyal fans in a casual private mini concert……no new stuff, everything’s just a relaxing, enjoying and pleasant experience….
After rather disappointing "Mr. Beast" and "The Hawk Is Howling" that I’ve just no idea what’s the new direction they really wanted to go, Mogwai release their 7th album, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will. Mogwai still can’t produce any new things out this time, but this Scottish band provides an excellent complication of their best music style of their long career in a warmly dedicated and confident way…….makes their fans feeling like Mogwai coming home and getting closer to everyone!!
