Yasushi Yoshida 吉田靖 was born in November 1978 in Osaka, Japan. He writes, produces and performs music focusing on piano and guitar arrangements. Yoshida began making his name as a composer, contributing to multi-award winning dance companies, BABY-Q’s solo dance performances and various plays and films in Japan. Not content with working solely within the music scene, Yasushi Yoshida has also contributed material to areas as diverse as theatre and visual arts.

His last work “Little Grace” is still one of my favourite album with the unique positive, subtle, beautiful, elegant modern classical/post rock music….you can compare his music with the sort of post rock acts like Sigur Ros, etc…..just too beautiful to purify the whole world and fragile hearts!!!

If ‘Little Grace’ is a bit too melancholy and sad…..this new album ‘Grateful Goodbye’ is appeared to be more bright more optimistic and musically more dense…...but you still can sense his trademark orchestral arrangement of beauty, sympathy, positivity and melancholy that make emotional tears dropped from everyone’s fragile heart for such extraordinary music…...when everyone in this crazy capital world goes mad including the same-styled World’s End Girlfriend in his recent album, Yasushi Yoshida still stands firm and stays clam to praise the greatest of life and destiny!!!
