What a joyful experience for me last night to meet not one but two superb albums in a single day......
Destroyer's Rubies - Destroyer
it's nothing new but simply an very excellent album playing ordinary indie pop music.....the type you will give up doing other things (my newspaper last night) and focus to read(or sing)-along with the interesting lyrics......reminding me the times to listen the smiths, arcad fire, decemberists.......
65 Days of Static: One Time For All Time
If mogwai/ExITSky play quiet-loud, quiet-loud post rock music, this sheffield band has just worked out some hyper breathtaking quiet-loud, loud-loud, break-loud, drill-loud post post-rock stuffs......blended postrock/ postpunk/ electronic/ break/ drill elements altogether......what a new breed of monster like mixing mogwai/bloc party/four tet/aphex twin together….. not least, they also got energy, pace and attitude.......really awesome!!!
